To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a/an System Senior Staff Engineer located in Zhuhai or Shenzhen. The System Engineer, working with other design team members, will be responsible for system architecture definition and feasibility assessment, in order to meet customer’s requirements, from the development of conceptual prototypes and architecture, through development into full-scale production.
What a typical day looks like:
1. Project technical leadership, responsible for managing System Integration involving cross-functional teams
2. Main technical interface for customer and suppliers of critical parts
3. Helps supervisors to ensure that department PDPs are correctly implemented
4. Organizes periodic technical team meetings, working for the resolution of System problems
5. Ensures that system documentation is prepared according to the project schedule, being owner of the
6. related deliverables (system requirements and system design)
7. Highlights schedule issues, allocation and resources problems to PM
8. Review System RA, dFMEA, pFMEA and takes care of verifying appropriate link and implementation
9. Review test strategy especially covering System Integration (Fault Injection) and ensure the correct split between SW/EE/ME/QE tests
10. Supports PM in updating the action tracker list file for items related to inter-department dependencies
11. Support the updating of the defect tracking system (with the support of the PM) to evaluate and assign bug resolution
12. Participates in subsystem documentation review (up to requirement and architecture) as independent reviewer
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
1. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or Mechanical engineering and a minimum of 5 years in his primary discipline with good overall exposure to all three of them (EE/SW/ME),EE background is must.
2. Have Knowledge of Embedded microcontroller architectures, HW/FW partitioning analysis techniques and Requirement definition and testing
3. Demonstrates functional, technical and people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills.
4. Demonstrates expertise in multiple areas and industry. Demonstrates proficient knowledge of the function and a thorough understanding of Flex and related business.
5. Must have a good knowledge of company practices, with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
