Caterpillar Commercial Representative Development Program- Machine Sales (Trainee Program open to 1-5 years out of school. When you join this program, you will be part of an Asia Pacific team participating in rotational assignments focused on developing your industry, product, application, marketing, and technical knowledge - all with an intense focus on Caterpillar’s customers. Each person hired into the Commercial Representative Development Program is assigned a coach to help guide your progression through the Program. You will receive personalized onboarding, soft-skill, sales and technical training specific to your field assignments, and participate in a variety of rotations across the business to ensure you have the means necessary to achieve your career goals.This position will support the machine sales team. The team is passionate about meeting the needs of our customers against the background of rapidly evolving sustainability goals and are vigilant about enhancing our offerings through superior customer service, new innovative solutions, services and technology offerings. Our global reach and presence are unmatched in the industry.Your rotations will be tailored to best prepare you for your future field sales role within our machine sales team. Based on your interests, skills, and abilities, you may enter rotations designed to prepare you for your field role in; aftermarket sales, machine sales, marketing, dealer development, product applications to name a few. While working in the rotational assignments, you will have opportunities to travel internationally and to regional Caterpillar facilities and customer sites. When employees win, so does Caterpillar.Qualifications:Required Qualifications:Must have accredited university in one of the following degree programs: Marketing, Science, Engineering, or closely related fieldPassion for salesMust have an advanced level of proficiency in both written and spoken EnglishMust be willing to travel extensively (up to 50%)Must be willing and able to relocate domestically/internationally based upon business need in the futureDesired Qualifications:Relevant work experience related to earthmoving industryStrong soft skills and analytical skills to interpret and understand dataAbility to influence change and experience in stakeholder managementPrior leadership experience.
